Employment is one of the most important indicators of a community’s economic health. The Community Wellness Indicators for Employment present the current and historical unemployment rate, job vacancies by industry and job vacancies requiring higher education, the percentage of Pierce County’s residents that have attained a high school diploma or GED equivalency, the hourly wages paid by decile, the housing wage and the wage per job paid in Pierce County. |
